“We're Dock 6 and we play rock and roll!!”
CORY RIVERO, Lead vocalist for Dock 6, was born into music from day one of life. With 7 older siblings, and parents who all loved music, he was introduced to everything from big band era, to country and gospel and the rock of the 60s and 70s.
In 1980, music had a complete turn for him as he heard Judas Priest's British Steel. It was at this time metal music became his constant companion.
Influenced by the likes of Rob Halford, Geoff Tate and Bruce Dickinson, Cory likes to send high energy to the audience and involve them in the show. Cory states, "When the crowd is involved, it is electric and makes all of us feel like we belong to something bigger than just ourselves".
SCOTT PERRY has been playing music most of his life. His father taught him chords on the guitar at age 6 and he has been playing ever since. Scott started playing the bass guitar in 1995. SHANE YOUNG Lead guitarist, is a solo recording artist with music that is available wherever music is sold. He began learning guitar at the age of 18. When he was almost 20, a catastrophic injury put his dedication to the test! But after a year of painful physical therapy and many hours of practice, he went on to start his first band Native Breed, and then an annual charity fund raiser concert comprised of local musicians. Shortly after he formed the highly successful cover band Crisis. Then other music projects and other successful bands followed: Deuce and Havoc. He continues to write and record, and is currently participating in epic Dock 6 live shows!
